Boortmalt is an international malt company based in Belgium. Boortmalt’s Plant Performance Manager is Gert van Laer. Meyland is always ready, even after business hours we stay in touch. Everyone in the company is easily accessible at any time of day, from the big boss to the accountant. We hope to complete many projects together in the future.
Boortmalt is a Belgium-based, interna-tional malt company that produces and sells barley malt for brewing and distilling beer worldwide.
Gert van Laer, Plant Performance Manager at Boortmalt. Meyland provides us with daily maintenance in support of our in-house technical service. We also regularly conduct projects with Meyland for renovation work or additional conveyor systems.
Our technical department is limited in manpower and because of the knowledge Meyland has, we can always count on their support especially during peak periods and when there are issues. They know our business and respond quickly to our needs. In this way, they guarantee the continuity of Boortmalt. We work primarily with a natural product, and if we come to a standstill we run the risk of losing quality and, in the worst case, losing product. Meyland really is always accessible even outside office hours and the lines are short; everyone in the company is easy to reach from the big boss to accounting. Regardless of the time of day.
It is a fine cooperation because Meyland has not only a high service level but also a good price/quality ratio. We also request bids from other parties but if more are at the same (price) level then the contracts are invariably awarded to Meyland. They generally just have more to offer everywhere than their con-colleagues. we hope that in the future we can realize many great projects together.
